The approach
How We Make Progress
Knowledge, community, and technology, working together.
Understand where children get stuck
We map exactly where a diagnosis stalls, a referral gets lost, or a specialist is simply too far away.
Connect specialists, researchers, and institutions
We bring together the specialists, researchers, and institutions who hold the knowledge children's care depends on.
Build tools that bring expertise closer to care
We build the tools that carry that expertise to wherever a child is — no matter the distance.
Beyond the mission
Even Today, Medical Records Still Travel on a CD-ROM.
A child's file is too sensitive to email and too disconnected to share between systems. So it moves the way it always has — on paper, on a disc, sometimes by hand — while the specialist who could read it stays hundreds of miles away. We're building a way to bring that expertise to the record, without the record ever having to leave the hospital.
